Magee is a Washington DC-based documentary film editor with a special expertise in vérité filmmaking. With a career spanning 20 years, he has edited feature films from all over the world in multiple different languages. In recent years, he has built a deep portfolio of pieces dedicated to unique stories from his hometown of Washington DC. Today, he remains rooted in community-based filmmaking, working at the intersection of grassroots activism, and high production-value filmmaking, and is a close collaborator of Tres Raíces Films, a DC-based film collective.
